The following product recalls have been announced:

About 4,000 Windsor Spindle-Back side chairs, imported by J.C. Penney and made in Malaysia, because the wood stretchers can split while in use and the chairs can collapse. There has been one minor whiplash injury reported. The company has received four reports of chairs splitting and collapsing. The chairs, sold in sets four, measure 36 inches high; the backs and legs are painted white, and the seat is a natural wood color. The chairs were sold online and through the J.C. Penney catalog. About 1,000 Sleepi Crib foam mattresses, manufactured in Italy by Stokke, because the crib mattresses are not properly sized, creating a gap in the crib that poses an entrapment hazard to young children. No injuries or illnesses have been reported. The cribs, sold nationwide from September 2006 through March 2007, are oval- shaped with foam mattresses and are sold under the following model numbers: 660321, 660320, 660301, 660305, 660318, 652268, 652269, 652246, 652247 and 652248.
