MACHIAS – The University of Maine at Machias will host a memorial service Friday, Aug. 31, for Nathan Morrill, a former UMM student who was killed in an automobile accident in Hancock on July 19.

Students and community members who knew Morrill, 21, are invited to celebrate his life with his family at 2 p.m. in the Clipper Lounge of Sennett Hall on campus.

Morrill was a marine biology student for three semesters and continued to live in Machias after leaving UMM in December 2005.
