I would like to voice my opinion on the article in the BDN dated Aug. 21 by Gwynne Dyer.

I admit that I am not well versed in war, but I am so fed up with Vice President Dick Cheney and his cronies wanting to invade Iran. Why would they think that the U.S. would be welcomed with open arms after invading their country? Where do they think they would get the manpower to do such a despicable thing? Do they not realize what that got the U.S. in Iraq?

I say let Cheney and his cronies send their sons and daughters over there to fight or better still, let Cheney don a uniform and go fight for his country. I, for one, am so sick of seeing our young men and women killed in the Iraq quagmire. I would hope that the admirals and generals who know more about war than Cheney ever would, could somehow be able to ward off this horrible plan.
