Robinson goal lifts Warriors to victory Madawaska, Fort Fairfield boys win

DYER BROOK – Tyler Robinson scored the winning goal off an assist from Dakota Sleeper as Southern Aroostook edged Central Aroostook of Mars Hill 1-0 in a high school boys soccer game Wednesday.

Colby Clark made one save on two shots for the 2-0-1 Warriors.

Logan McCarthy made eight saves on 21 shots for the 2-3-2 Panthers.

Madawaska 7, Wisdom 0

At St. Agatha, seven different Owls scored unassisted goals in the shutout of Wisdom.

Nathan Beaulieu, Shawn Parker, Jon Lee, Tim MacDermott, Kyle Pelletier, Michael Cannan and Aaron Marquis had a goal apiece for 5-1 Madawaska. Nate Beaulieu saved six out of 15 shots.

Curtis Collins made 15 saves on 29 shots for 1-5 Wisdom.

Fort Fairfield 2, Katahdin 1

At Stacyville, Josh Churchill netted a pair of goals in the first half to lead Fort Fairfield past Katahdin.

Austin Dufour made eight saves on 16 shots for the 4-0-1 Tigers.

Ethan Qualey scored a goal for Katahdin off a Marshal Davis assist. Matthew Tarr made 11 saves on 22 shots for the 1-1 Cougars.

Girls soccer

Madawaska 5, Wisdom 0

At St. Agatha, Jamie Nadeau scored a goal and grabbed a pair of assists as Madawaska shut out Wisdom Tuesday.

Kallie Pelletier, Susan Lavertu, Audrey Bergeron and Ashley Cyr each added a goal for Madawaska. Sara Schlicher and Cyr combined to make five saves on seven shots for the 5-0 Owls.

Deliya Michaud stopped 17 of 30 shots for the 3-4 Pioneers.

LCS/MSSM 8, Easton 1

At Limestone on Wednesday, Kellie Peers netted four goals to lead Limestone Community School/Maine School of Science and Mathematics to victory over Easton.

Rylee Leighton scored two goals while Melanie Allen and Eva Smith each added a goal for Limestone. Audra Kirk stopped five of six shots for the Eagles.

Sam Fuller scored for Easton while Taylor Burtt made 26 saves on 37 shots for the Bears.

The name of the team’s head coach should also be listed with his or her phone number.
