BANGOR – A local man arrested at gunpoint in June in a Union Street drugstore was indicted for robbery Tuesday by the Penobscot County grand jury.

Stephen J. Haney, 51, allegedly robbed the Rite Aid at the corner of Third and Union streets on June 15. Police allegedly found $233 in cash in his pocket and a butcher knife at his side.

No one was injured in the botched robbery. At least three employees and a half-dozen customers were in the store at the time of the robbery, according to police.

Haney is scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 21 in Penobscot County Superior Court.

If convicted, he faces up to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $50,000.

Kevin Cobb, 48, Lamoine, gross sexual assault.

Jared Crossman, 18, Newport, two counts burglary, three counts theft by unauthorized taking.

Rebecca Davis, 49, two counts unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs.

Rufus D. Edwards, 35, Bangor, eluding officer, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, driving to endanger, operating after suspension, leaving scene.

Clayton D. Ellis, 52, Corinth, aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs, aggravated unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs, criminal forfeiture.

Clayton G. Enman, 61, Hudson, operating after revocation.

Angela Ferrante, 44, Bangor, theft by deception, 16 counts of aggravated forgery.

Bruce A. Hews, 34, Bangor, two counts of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs.

Erika Lewey, 27, Old Town, theft by unauthorized taking.

Michael R. Masini, 25, Bangor, burglary, theft by unauthorized taking, criminal mischief.

Abernathy B. Miller, 39, Brewer, aggravated assault.

Matthew J. Murphy, 20, West Enfield, five counts of stealing drugs, operating after suspension.
