BUCKSPORT – Gabby Herring and Keely Sullivan sparked a Bucksport rally with unassisted first-half goals as the Golden Bucks earned their first schoolgirl soccer win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Hermon Thursday.
Lindsey Allen had scored to give Hermon a 1-0 lead earlier in the half.
Stephanie Bridges and Emily Lenor combined to make 12 saves on 13 shots for 1-1 Bucksport. Megan Herbert made six saves on 12 shots for 0-2 Hermon.
Calais 8, East Grand 0
At Calais, Courtney Hill scored three goals and Jaclyn Magoon and Whitney Remington added two goals each to lead the Blue Devils to victory.
Elise Luddington also scored for Calais, while Shannon Scarlett chipped in with an assist.
Hillary Hollingdale and Toni Cole combined to save all five shots they faced for 2-0 Calais.
Courtney Lloyd stopped 10 of 20 shots for 0-2 East Grand.
Narraguagus 0, Calvary Chapel 0
At Bangor, neither goalie allowed a goal through regulation and two overtimes.
Samantha Baker made 11 saves on 11 shots for 0-1-1 Narraguagus of Harrington.
Hannah Lacadie stopped all nine shots for 1-0-1 Calvary Chapel of Orrington.
Hampden Acad. 2, Bangor 1
At Hampden, the Broncos scored two unanswered goals, one in each half, after the Rams took an early 1-0 lead en route to the victory.
Amy Hackett put Bangor up 1-0 with 23 minutes left in the first half with a blast from 35 yards out.
The Broncos tied it two minutes later as Brandy Eldridge knocked in a pass from Michaela Stephenson.
Siobhan Grogan netted the winner with 33:42 left in the match, burying a long cross from Lauren Jadaliah into the far post.
Michelle Wells had five saves on 10 shots for 5-10 Hampden while Rachel Roberts stopped seven of 15 for 0-2 Bangor.

Bangor Christian 8, Sumner 0
At Bangor, Katherine Bragg scored three goals and assisted two others to lift Bangor Christian over Sumner of East Sullivan.
Christin Pelletier had a goal and an assist for the 3-0 Patriots. Hannah Pray, Suze Lin Vandine, Kelly Robinson and Verity Ramirez each added a goal. Britney Palmer stopped both shots.
Kaylee House and Kelsey Tucker combined to make 21 saves on 43 shots for 0-1 Sumner.
George Stevens 4, Searsport 1
At Blue Hill, Leah Mattson knocked home three goals as George Stevens Academy rolled to its third win.
Alida Peake scored one goal and assisted on two others for the 3-0 Eagles while sister Emily picked up another assist. Kayla Eaton made two saves on six shots.
Kali Berenyi tallied the lone goal for 0-3 Searsport. Kate Bradshaw assisted on the goal, while Amanda Chaney and Megan Higgins combined for 11 saves on 24 shots.
Ellsworth 5, MDI 0
At Bar Harbor, Lily Cooper scored two goals to push Ellsworth past Mount Desert Island.
Jen Richter, Casey Wyman and Catherine Carter each scored for 2-1 Ellsworth and Maggie Harding provided two assists. Rachel Arkin stopped four of eight shots.
Elizabeth Sargent made five saves on 14 shots for 0-2 MDI.

At Dexter, Raven Patterson, Allyssa Crane and Anna Fournier each had a goal and an assist as the Tigers topped the Mariners.
Sarah Domenech, Miranda Gove, Alexis Mitchell and Marissa Robinson each added a goal for 2-0 Dexter. Ashley Richardson stopped two of three shots.
Anika Powers and Britnie Jones combined for 20 saves on 27 shots for 0-2 DI-Stonington.
Lee 12, Penobscot Valley 2
At Howland, Amanda Gifford knocked in three goals as Lee Academy cruised in its opener.
Brooke Harris and Aarika Ritchie tallied three goals apiece while Kim Thurlow added another for the 1-0 Pandas. Karin Bird had five saves on seven shots.
Lyndsay Durost and Molly Thompson netted goals for the 0-3 Howlers. Julie Theriault stopped 13 of 34 shots.
John Bapst 5, Old Town 1
At Old Town, Morgan Chasse scored two goals to help lead John Bapst of Bangor to victory over Old Town.
Whitney Sinclair had a goal and two assists for the 2-0-1 Crusaders. Kristen Willard and Abby Perkins both added a goal and Sam Maquillian stopped six of 12 shots.
Morgin Cossar scored with 17:39 left in the first half off assists from Sabrina Jordan and Katie Deshane for 1-2 Old Town. Annie Cashon made 12 saves on 25 shots.

Central 2, Foxcroft Academy 1
At Dover-Foxcroft, Molly Chretien’s unassisted goal with two minutes left in the first half stood up as the game-winner and Central of Corinth pulled out the win.
Michelle Ferrie also scored unassisted for the 1-1 Red Devils.
Shee-Ann Sargent scored the only goal for the 0-2 Ponies on an assist from Julia Kurzius.

Nokomis 2, Mount View 1
At Newport, Alison Berg slammed home a Lauren Lancaster pass with 10:58 remaining in regulation to lift the Warriors past Mount View of Thorndike.
Sabrina Vaillancourt scored an unassisted goal in the first half for 3-0 Nokomis. Beth Flanders had four saves on five shots.
Kristen Massessa tallied an unassisted goal for the 1-2 Mustangs. Lyndsey Cronin stopped seven out of nine shots.

Camden Hills 2, Belfast 2 (2OT)
At Rockport, Dale Winsper of Camden Hills and Belfast’s Paxton Mohney didn’t allow a goal through two overtimes.
Kate Fetterman tied it with 3:28 left in regulation on a Megan Bauer assist for 1-0-1 Camden Hills. Amanda Kava had an unassisted goal in the first half. Winsper stopped 13 of 15 shots.
Christine Hill scored a goal and assisted the other for 0-1-1 Belfast. Briana Curry had a first-half goal. Mohney made two saves on four shots.

Dexter 5, Deer Isle-Stonington 0
At Deer Isle, David Wilks scored two goals as the Tigers opened their season with a victory.
Rick Stewart, Ethan Woodman and Lee Gustin also scored for Dexter, while Devin Grant contributed an assist.
Chris Eastman stopped all four shots he faced for Dexter. Joe Carter saved 15 of 25 shots for 0-2 Deer Isle-Stonington.
Hermon 2, Bucksport 0
At Hermon, Colton Gross scored a second-half goal as the Hawks shut out the Golden Bucks.
Alex Petersen added an insurance goal on a Brian Saucier assist with 30:05 left in the second half for 1-1 Hermon. Cory Johnson made eight saves on 12 shots.
Jon Grindle stopped six of 21 shots for 0-2 Bucksport.

Bangor Christian 9, Sumner 2
At East Sullivan, Phil Dougherty netted four goals while Zach Kutz tallied two more as Bangor Christian rolled past Sumner.
Brett Bradford, Wontaek Oh and Seth Gorman added a goal apiece and Nate Kutz an assist for the 3-0 Patriots. Sam McLeod had seven saves on 10 shots.
Joey Ossanna scored both goals for the 0-1 Tigers, one of which was assisted by Anthony Cultrea. Woody Huber saved 14 of 25 shots.
Bangor 5, Hampden 1
At Bangor, Cody Cormier scored three times to lead Bangor past Hampden.
Johnny Warren and Dan Taft both scored for the 2-0 Rams. Nick George, Pat Bolduc and Jimmy Burns provided assists. Erik Milles stopped three of eight shots.
Nate Burke scored with 11 minutes left in the second half off of a Nick El Hajj assist for 1-2 Hampden. Cam Cox made six saves on 16 shots.

At East Millinocket, Ryan Van Buskirk made 15 saves on 17 shots in a shutout effort as Houlton earned its first win.
Lowell Matthews, Justin Haggerty and Parker Brown each had an unassisted goal for the 1-5 Shiretowners.
Lanny Thompson had 23 saves on 28 shots for 1-1 Schenck.
Waterville 5, Nokomis 1
At Waterville, Wilson Guthro scored a goal and assisted another to lift Waterville over Nokomis of Newport.
Teddy Worcester, Nick Christensen, Noah Spoffard and David Cook added goals for 1-2 Waterville. Zach Jochem stopped five of 10 shots.
Jordan Woodbury scored a second-half goal on a Kaleb Brown assist for 0-3 Nokomis. Mark Gustin and Mike Woodbury combined to save 17 of 26 shots.

At Guilford, Damien Bridge scored an unassisted goal and assisted on two others as Piscataquis Community shut out Penquis of Milo.

Richie Russell stopped seven of 14 shots for the 0-3 Patriots.
John Bapst 1, Old Town 0
At Bangor, Max Cutri scored an unassisted goal with 17:38 left in regulation to lead John Bapst past Old Town.
Ethan Cushman made four saves on six shots for the 1-2 Crusaders.
Ethan Shanley stopped six of 14 shots for the 0-3 Coyotes.
