MILLINOCKET – Foxcroft Academy held Stearns to 53 yards of total offense and nine different backs compiled 240 yards rushing en route to a 34-0 high school football victory Friday night.

Jared Rideout finished with 62 yards on 10 carries and a 5-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Shane Adkins had a 5-yard TD run in the second quarter and a 2-yard plunge in the third.

Ian Champeon, who collected 53 yards on nine carries, got the Ponies on the board with a 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

Jamie Nason completed four of 10 passes for 53 yards while Jon Geiger blocked a pair of punts.

Jason Levasseur recorded 10 tackles for Stearns.

At South Paris, Oxford Hills running back D.J. Drew opened the game by scoring on a 79-yard kickoff return and went on to gain 123 rushing yards and 229 all-purpose yards before leaving the game with an ankle sprain.

Vikings quarterback Justin Frechette threw two touchdown passes in the game and Drew scored on a 76-yard run in the second quarter.

Caleb Smith led the Brewer Witches with two touchdowns – one on a 77-yard kick return and the other on a 24-yard run in the fourth quarter.

At Rockland, Andrew Weiss racked up 105 yards on 23 carries, two catches for 33 yards, three touchdown runs and another touchdown reception to pace the Rockland Tigers to a 30-8 high school football victory over Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield Friday night.

Weiss scored on first-half runs of 4 and 40 yards and added a 12-yard burst in the third period. He was also successful on a pair of two-point conversion rushes.

Quarterback Dylan Meklin finished 5-for-9 passing for 79 yards and a 23-yard TD pass to Weiss.

Mark Boynton added 66 yards rushing for the Tigers, who rushed for 213 yards on the night. Sophomore Coby Boutot paced a defense that held the Huskies to 98 yards of total offense with seven solo tackles.

Nick Miller paced MCI with 75 yards on 22 carriers while Shawn Bennett scored on a three-yard run in the second quarter.

At Belfast, Cory Bezanson led a 21-0 third-quarter surge with a 63-yard touchdown run as Winslow turned a 7-0 halftime lead into a 28-0 cushion en route to the win over Belfast.

Bezanson opened the scoring for the Black Raiders with a 54-yard jaunt in the first quarter.

James Wood scored on a six-yard run in the third period for Winslow and completed a 15-yard pass to Scott Siviski.

Chris Brawn scored a one-yard run in the fourth quarter and Siviski converted all five of his extra-point kicks.

Willie Fogg scored on a 12-yard run in the fourth for Belfast and rushed for the two-point conversion.

Gardiner 54, Old Town 8

At Old Town, Kyle Stilphen complete all five of his passes, three for touchdowns, for 147 yards and scored on a 70-yard punt return to lead Gardiner to victory over Old Town.

Bass Chadwick rushed seven times for 119 yards and scored three touchdowns for Gardiner. Mike Denham caught two Stilphen passes for touchdowns and Mike Lavallee had the other.

Forrest Chadwick scored in the third quarter on a 36-yard run.

Jake Coan, Don Hensbee and Matt Miller each recorded a sack for Gardiner.

Lance Getchell caught a seven-yard pass from Josh Boucher for Old Town’s lone touchdown.

Boucher was 11-22 passing for 108 yards. Getchell caught five passes for 57 yards and Kevin Demons had five receptions for 48 yards.

Seth Wallace had 12 tackles for Old Town.
