FAIRFIELD – Michelle Gist scored with 28:10 left in the first half on a Molleigh Mahaney assist to lead Bangor to a 1-0 high school field hockey victory over the Lawrence Bulldogs Thursday.

Hilary Babin stopped all 16 shots for Bangor.

Jordan Carter made nine saves on 10 shots for Lawrence.

JV: Bangor 4-1

Hampden 1, Brewer 1 (OT)

At Hampden, Sarah Pond’s unassisted goal with about 12 minutes left in regulation helped the Broncos earn a tie through two overtimes with the Witches.

Dylan Hotham made five saves on six shots for 0-2-1 Hampden.

Meagan Seymour put 0-4-1 Brewer on the board with an unassisted goal in the first minute of action. Angela Patterson made 12 saves on 13 shots.

JV: Hampden 2-0.

Orono 2, Central 1

At Corinth on Wednesday, Elizabeth Vinal scored the game-winning goal two minutes into overtime to lift Orono past Central.

Annie Withington netted the first goal while Amber Saucier stopped eight of nine shots for the 2-3 Red Riots.

Maddie Dunakin scored for Central off an assist from Samantha Blanchard. Kara Voisine made six saves on eight shots for the 2-2 Red Devils.

JV: Central 5-0

Girls soccer

Orono 3, Piscataquis 0

At Guilford, Lauren Wheeler scored an unassisted goal in the first half and assisted on a second-half goal by Ruth Mares to power undefeated Orono to victory.

Devon Riley recorded a first-half goal for the 4-0 Red Riots with Mares recording the assist. Brittney Pinkham saved all five shots she faced.

Jill Martell had six saves on nine shots for 3-1 Piscataquis Community.

JV: Orono 2-1

Dexter 2, Central 1 (2OT)

At Corinth, Sarah Atwater scored the winning goal on a penalty kick with less than a minute left in the second overtime to lift Dexter over Central.

Anna Fournier scored the first goal about a minute into the game on an Atwater assisted for the 4-1 Tigers. Ashley Ricahrdson stopped 20 of 21 shots.

Kristie Collins tied it at 1-1 on an unassisted goal in the second half for 1-3 Central. Jana Philbrick and Jess Daniel combined for 10 saves on 14 shots.

Lee 9, Penobscot Valley 1

At Lee, Amanda Gifford scored three goals as the Pandas rolled over Penobscot Valley of Howland.

Aarika Ritchie had two goals for the 4-0 Pandas. Brooke Harris, Morgan McGaw, Kellsey Grass and Katelyn Mallett each added a goal. Karin Bird made four saves on eight shots.

Jordan Leveille scored for 0-4 Penobscot Valley. Julie Theriault stopped six of 24 shots.

Bangor 2, Skowhegan 1

At Skowhegan, Amy Hackett scored on a penalty kick in the first half and assisted the other goal to lead Bangor to victory over Skowhegan.

Kim Jordan scored in the second half for the Rams. Kortnie Hudgens made three saves on six shots.

Adrienne Davis scored with about three minutes left in the second half for Skowhegan. Crystal Johnson blocked 13 of 21 shots.

JV: Bangor 6-1

Boys soccer

Bangor Christian 2, Schenck 1

At East Millinocket, Wontaek Oh scored the game-winning goal 22 minutes into the second half as the Patriots remained undefeated.

Schenck took a 1-0 lead as Aaron Hutchins scored on an assist from Trevor Violette, but Bangor Christian tied the game before intermission on a goal by Brandon Wilcox.

Sam McLeod made eight saves on 11 shots for 5-0 Bangor Christian. Lanny Thompson made 29 saves on 36 shots for 1-3 Schenck.

Dexter 2, Central 2 (2OT)

At Dexter, neither Dexter’s Chris Eastman nor Central’s Tyler Pineo allowed a goal in two overtimes after the Tigers and Red Devils played to a stalemate through regulation play.

Rick Stewart tied the game at 2-2 on a Lee Gustin assist with 27:20 left in the second half for 3-0-1 Dexter. Ethan Woodman scored an unassisted goal with 38:11 left in regulation. Eastman stopped 11 of 13 shots.

Scott Kelley scored on a penalty kick with 35:17 left in regulation for 3-0-1 Central and Ryan Bean made it 2-1 with 28:07 left on an unassisted goal. Pineo made 12 saves on 26 shots.

Orono 3, Piscataquis 1

At Orono, Ian Staples had one goal and assisted on another as Orono downed Piscataquis of Guilford.

Mark Cloutier and Brandon Paul added goals and Lee Hecker and Paul Ohno assists for the 1-3 Red Riots. Nate Peterson had six saves on seven shots.

Travis Nelson scored for the 3-1 Pirates, with Lloyd Bridge recording the assist. Corbin Shufelt stopped five of eight shots.

JV: Piscataquis 3-2 (OT)

Ellsworth 4, Hermon 0

At Ellsworth, Zach Emeigh scored two goals to lead the Eagles past the Hawks.

Moritz Bohm and Garrett Kaspala tallied a goal apiece for 2-1-1 Ellsworth. Pate Kelley and Luke Haskell each added an assist. Greg Berry and Jordan Carter combined for seven saves on 10 shots.

Cory Johnson stopped 12 of 20 shots for 1-3 Hermon.

JV: Ellsworth 2-1

Bangor 6, Skowhegan 0

At Bangor, Nick George and Dan Taft knocked in two goals apiece as Bangor improved to 4-0.

Devin Lincoln notched a goal and an assist and Mike Malmer scored another for the Rams. Mack Susi and Brian Loiselle both added assists. Bud Angst had four saves on six shots.

Nick Beaulieu stopped six of 19 shots for 0-5 Skowhegan.

JV: Bangor 10-0

MDI 2, John Bapst 0

At Bar Harbor, Skyler Lewis scored eight minutes into the game on a Naniel Hilliard assisted to lead Mount Desert Island past John Bapst of Bangor.

Ben Young added an insurance goal with three minutes left in the first half on a Tarek Dekkaki assist for 2-0 MDI. John Joseph stopped five of seven shots.

Ethan Cushman made six saves on 10 shots for 2-3 John Bapst.

JV: MDI 3-1
