ROCKLAND – Mainebiz, a business news publication, has selected Rockland as the site of its first satellite location outside Portland.

Mainebiz will move into office space in the Rockland Harbor Park Center on the city’s waterfront this month.

The 78,000-square-foot former MBNA building is being converted into a mixed-use facility that will provide space for offices, educational and research institutes, and space for a year-round restaurant, bar and conference and meeting facility.

“Our goal is to establish satellite locations throughout the state to allow us more access to vital economic news and events and to help us better serve our readers,” said Donna Brassard, publisher.
