BUCKSPORT – Adam Grover converted on a penalty kick with 3:12 remaining to lift undefeated George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill to a 2-1 high school boys soccer win over Bucksport Friday.
The 5-0 Eagles trailed 1-0 at halftime, but Steve Ensworth tied it with 12:23 remaining in the second, with Grover getting the assist.
Dom Kone put the 0-3 Golden Bucks on top with 31:08 left in the first, blasting home a pass from Alex Pappas.
Rashaad Frazier had 12 saves on 17 shots for GSA, and Bucksport’s Jon Grindle stopped 18 of 22.
Penquis 3, Searsport 0
At Milo, Brian Zwicker knocked in a pair of goals to lead Penquis past Searsport.
Eddie Cobb added a goal while Noah Bissell and Jon Portillo collected assists for the 1-4 Patriots. Richie Russell had five saves on six shots.
Dan Peach recorded 16 saves on 39 shots for 0-4 Searsport.
Woodland 7, Jonesport-Beals 3
At Woodland, Chad James had three goals and two assists to lift Woodland over Jonesport-Beals.
Cody Sappier added two goals and an assist for 2-1-2 Woodland. Scott Boomer had a goal and two assists and Ben Sears scored a goal. Todd Wormell and Dan Proulx combined for eight saves on 11 shots.
Derek Leach scored twice for 0-4 Jonesport-Beals. Josh Faulkingham had a goal and an assist and Jake Hunkler provided an assist. Josiah Duhaime made 24 saves on 31 shots.
Greenville 2, Vinalhaven 1
At Vinalhaven, Richie Chilson and Kyle Whitman scored unassisted goals to lead Greenville past Vinalhaven.
Tim Post had 15 saves on 16 shots for the 2-2 Lakers.
Keith Drury scored the lone goal for 2-3 Vinalhaven. Nathan Hawkins saved 13 of 15 shots.
Hampden 3, Brewer 2 (OT)
At Hampden, Nick Beal scored the winning goal off of a Harvey Shue assist with 3:37 left in overtime to lift Hampden Academy over Brewer.
Maic Frieden and Nate Burke scored first-half goals for 3-2 Hampden. Cam Cox stopped six of eight shots.
Shun Sasaki and Evan Nadeau both scored in the second half for 3-2 Brewer. Chris Brady turned away eight of 11 shots.

Rockland 1, Gardiner 0
At Rockland, Elsie Mason scored an unassisted goal with about 14 minutes left in regulation to lead Rockland past previously unbeaten Gardiner.
Kayla McGuire made 16 saves on 21 shots for 2-3 Rockland.
Kayla Manks stopped eight of 16 shots for 3-1-1 Gardiner.
Hampden 3, Brewer 0
At Brewer, Lindsay Martin scored twice to lift Hampden Academy over Brewer.
Kayla Alley added a goal for the 3-2 Broncos. Michelle Wells turned away six of eight shots.
Carolyn Tuck made 13 saves on 16 shots for the 1-4 Witches.
Calais 1, Woodland 1 (2OT)
At Woodland, Toni Cole of Calais and Cynthia Bergin of Woodland didn’t allow a goal through two overtimes.
Courtney Hill tied it at 1-1 with an unassisted goal in the second half for 4-0-1 Calais. Cole made eight saves on 12 shots.
Kacie Burke scored on a free kick in the first half for 3-2-1 Woodland. Bergin blocked 13 of 16 shots.
Greenville 3, Vinalhaven 2
At Vinalhaven, McKenna Peat scored two second-half goals, including the game-winner, to lead Greenville past Vinalhaven.
Kaitlin Harmon added a second-half goal for 3-1 Greenville. Lauren Fling made 10 saves on 12 shots.
Olivia Chilles and Chelsea Guptill scored for 1-2-1 Vinalhaven. Dana-Marie Wentworth stopped 14 of 20 shots.
Hermon 0, Ellsworth 0 (2OT)
At Ellsworth, neither Hermon’s Megan Herbert nor Rachel Arkin of Ellsworth allowed a goal through regulation and two overtimes.
Herbert made eight saves on 17 shots for 0-3-1 Hermon.
Arkin stopped four of five shots for 2-2-1 Ellsworth.

At Deer Isle, Tianna Faunce scored four goals to lead Searsport past Deer Isle-Stonington.
Sarah Bradshaw had three goals and assisted on another for the Vikings. Abby Landmesser added an assist. Amanda Chaney stopped seven of 11 shots.
Anika Powers and Britnie Jones combined for 14 saves on 24 shots for the Mariners.
