At Fort Fairfield, Katahdin’s Kayla Stevens and Kristen Hebert of Fort Fairfield didn’t allow a goal through two overtimes.
Mary-Jo Robinson scored the tying goal with about a minute left in regulation off a Melissa Duffy assist for 6-0-1 Katahdin of Stacyville. Duffy scored the other two goals, and Dani Beth Cyr provided an assist. Stevens made nine saves on 16 shots.
Maryl Shaw scored two goals for 6-4-2 Fort Fairfield and Rose-Mary Williams added a goal. Kaitlyn McLaughlin had two assists, and Hebert stopped 13 of 18 shots.
