The 13th annual University of Maine Women’s Basketball Golf Classic will be held on Monday beginning at 11 a.m. at the Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono. There will be a shotgun start and it will consist of a four-person scramble format.

An auction, dinner and awards ceremony will follow. The price is $125 per person. The proceeds will go to the women’s basketball program. There will be a $50,000 hole-in-one opportunity on one of the par-3s. Those interested need to preregister by Friday and can do so by calling 581-1107.
