Some Brewer city offices closed Friday

BREWER – The city’s tax office, assessor’s office and code and planning will be closed on Friday for mandatory safety training, Finance Director Karen Fussell said Wednesday.

“There will be no [on-site] vehicle registrations,” she said. “Residents can reregister vehicles at the state’s Web site and they can register ATVs and snowmobiles online and attain hunting and fishing licenses.”

All Maine residents can go to the Secretary of State’s Web site, www.sosonline.org, to reregister vehicles and can visit the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Department’s site, www.mefishwildlife.com, to get hunting and fishing licenses or register an all-terrain vehicle or snowmobile.
