BANGOR – Sarah Hessert scored off a pass from Elisah Dorso with 7:05 left in regulation to lift Husson College to a 2-1 college field hockey win over Colby College of Waterville Thursday.
Dorso scored earlier in the half for the 3-2 Eagles, while Kelly Bocchino had five saves on 11 shots.
Mary Clare Snediker scored in the first half for the 0-2 White Mules. Jamie Enos stopped seven of 11 shots.
UM-Farmington 1, So. Maine 0
At Gorham, Kristin Chambers scored the winning goal on a penalty shot at 21:53 of the first half to lift the University of Maine-Farmington over the University of Southern Maine.
Kaeleigh Barker made two saves on three shots for 3-1 UM-Farmington.
Allie Hill stopped 11 of 16 shots for the 4-2 Huskies.
Keene State 2, Saint Joseph’s 0
At Standish, Amanda Wright and Carly Benning scored a goal apiece as Keene State blanked Saint Joseph’s.
Jennifer McDougall had five saves on 11 shots in recording the shutout for 4-3 Keene State.
Kathleen Simoes stopped six of 14 shots for the 4-3 Monks.

SMCC 2, NMCC 1
At Bangor, Ben Lameri and Andrew Sheppard scored first-half goals to lead Southern Maine Community College of South Portland past Northern Maine Community College of Presque Isle.
Jake Hall stopped nine of 14 shots for 5-0 SMCC.
Dave Whitman scored on a Brandon Boulware assist in the 40th minute of the first half for 1-2 NMCC. Sam Petrie blocked eight of 14 shots.
