LINCOLN – Over the past few months, employees and visitors at Penobscot Valley Hospital have been placing their spare change in a container by the cash register of the hospital cafeteria. This month it has reached more than $100. The spare change is making a difference for the Lincoln Regional Food Cupboard.

The PVH Leadership Team wanted to show its support for the local charitable organization, so the hospital has matched the spare change donation. Chief Financial Officer Ann Marie Rush presented a check for $200 to the Lincoln Regional Food Cupboard.

The Lincoln Regional Food Cupboard is open from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays. This winter, the hours will be extended to 9 a.m.-noon.
