This week’s aggressive construction schedule includes work on I-95 as well as on ramps and offramps in Bangor. There also will be construction activity not related to MaineDOT’s work on Stillwater Avenue this week.

Sunday, Sept. 16

Beginning at 6 a.m., going north on I-95 from Cold Brook Road to Hammond Street exits, travel will be restricted to one lane. As work progresses, the lane restriction will be lifted until its anticipated return to two lanes on Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Monday, Sept. 24

Beginning at 8 p.m., the Union Street offramp will be closed. When work on the offramp is completed that night, it will be reopened and the Union Street on ramp will be closed. It is expected that both the on ramps and offramps will be fully opened by 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

Beginning at 8 p.m., the Union Street offramp will be closed for paving. When paving on the offramp is completed that night, it will be reopened and the Union Street on ramp will be closed for paving. It is expected that both the on ramps and offramps will be fully opened by 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Travel will be restricted to one lane on I-95 northbound from Union Street to the area of the Broadway overpass during the evening hours. This lane restriction is expected to continue until Friday.
