MACHIAS – The Washington County Soil and Water Conservation District will be coordinating a fall rainbow trout stocking program for private pond owners in Washington County.

Order forms and stocking permit applications can be obtained by calling the district office at 255-4659. The deadline to order trout is Friday, Oct. 19, and they will arrive for pickup at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the Machias post office parking lot.
