BELFAST – The International EcoPeace Community ESTIA will present its fourth annual participatory conference on Earth Education and Permaculture Design from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at the Hutchinson Center.

Julia and Charles Yelton, permaculturists and former residents of Crystal Waters, a permaculture ecovillage in Queensland, Australia, along with Emily Markides, University of Maine Peace Studies professor and founder of ESTIA, will give a presentation on “Creating a Permaculture Edible Forest in Cyprus,” after which conference participants will take part in various discussion groups.
