BANGOR – Amanda Gifford scored three goals, including the 100th of her career, and contributed two assists as the undefeated Pandas rolled to an 11-0 high school girls soccer victory over Deer Isle-Stonington Tuesday.

Gifford joined a select group of 100-goal scorers in the girls ranks while pushing her career total to 102. The senior center halfback headed in the first goal of the contest for No. 100.

Former Lee Academy star Shelby Pickering owns the state record with 177 goals.

Aarika Ritchie tallied three goals and two assists for the 9-0 Pandas, while Brooke Harris scored twice. Kimmy Thurlow provided a goal and an assist, while Dana Houghton and Morgan McGaw added a goal each.

Karen Bird made six saves on 14 shots.

Britnie Jones made three saves and faced 35 shots for 3-6 Deer Isle-Stonington.

Woodland 1, ‘Guagus 1 (2OT)

At Harrington, Kimberly Greene scored for Narraguagus with 3:34 remaining in the game to force a tie with Woodland through two overtimes.

Bethany Grant grabbed the assist on Greene’s goal while Samantha Baker made 10 saves on 12 shots for the Knights.

Molly White netted the goal for Woodland with 8:26 remaining in the game. Cynthia Bergin made eight saves on 12 shots for the Dragons.

George Stevens 3, Bucksport 1

At Bucksport, Laura Overton’s goal with 2:37 left in the first half, set up by Emily Peake, broke a 1-1 tie and led George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill to the victory.

GSA is now 7-0-1 while Bucksport fell to 2-5-1.

Madeline Park added an insurance goal in the second half off an Overton assist. Leah Mattson scored the game-opening goal with Peake picking up the assist.

Sara Gunnedal made five saves on eight shots.

Gaby Harvey scored for Bucksport and Stephanie Bridges made six saves on 11 shots.

Washington Acad. 9, Shead 1

At Eastport, Joslyn Corey and Kayla Wood each scored two goals to power Washington Academy of East Machias by Shead.

Sarah Castor, Andi Flannery, Jana Espling, Christa Chandler and Bri Nicely each added a goal. Carilla Fritz made 10 saves on 15 shots for the 8-0 Raiders.

Whitney Vinson scored for Shead off an assist from Kirby McPhail. Dorothy Pottle made 16 saves on 28 shots for the 2-6 Tigers.

MDI 3, Hermon 1

At Hermon, Danielle Hutchins, Emma Damon and Chelsea Bothen each tallied an unassisted goal as Mount Desert Island defeated Hermon.

Elizabeth Sargent had 12 saves on 16 shots for the 1-7 Trojans.

Lindsey Allen scored for the 2-4-1 Hawks. Megan Herbert stopped 19 of 22 shots.

JV: Hermon 2-1

Old Town 3, Central 1

At Corinth, Katie Deschene netted three unassisted goals to propel Old Town by Central.

Nicole Guay stopped 16 of 20 shots for the 5-3 Coyotes.

Kristie Collins scored early in the first half for Central. Jana Philbrick and Shari Shina combined to make 16 saves on 20 shots for the 2-6 Red Devils.

Greenville 1, Valley 1 (2OT)

At Greenville, McKenna Peat scored with 15:49 remaining in regulation as Greenville and Valley of Bingham played to a double-overtime tie.

Katelyn Atwood scored earlier in the second half for the 1-5-1 Cavaliers.

Lauren Fling had 10 saves on 11 shots for the 5-1-1 Lakers and Alyssa Ditalane 29 on 68 for Valley.

Orono 2, Bangor Christian 1

At Bangor, Rachel Balaban-Garber scored an unassisted goal in each half as Orono tripped up Bangor Christian.

Brittany Pinkham had nine saves on 22 shots for the 7-1 Red Riots.

Christin Pelletier recorded an unassisted goal for 6-3 Bangor Christian. Moriah Bach stopped nine of 18 shots.

Boys soccer

Waterville 1, Brewer 0

At Brewer, Ian Rowe scored the game-winning goal with 22:30 left in the first half to lift Waterville past Brewer.

Zach Jochem made nine saves on 12 shots for the 5-4 Panthers.

Chris Brady made 11 saves on 16 shots for the 5-3-1 Witches.

Lawrence 3, Nokomis 2

At Newport, Chase Karter, Nick Sterling and Sam Saunders each notched a goal to lift Lawrence past Nokomis.

Cody Sabian made 10 saves on 15 shots for the 3-6 Bulldogs of Fairfield.

Justin Downing and Jordan Richards each posted a goal for Nokomis. Mark Gustin made 15 saves on 20 shots for the 0-9 Warriors.

George Stevens 2, Bucksport 1

At Blue Hill, Peter Duncanson scored an unassisted goal 15 minutes into the second half as George Stevens Academy rallied for the victory.

Bucksport took a 1-0 lead in the first half on Jordan Trasko’s goal, which was assisted by John Grindle.

The 8-1 Eagles tied it up later in the half, as Ryan Kurtz blasted home a pass from Adam Grover.

Rashaad Frazier had five saves on eight shots for GSA while Ross Bowden stopped six of 14 for 0-7 Bucksport.

Ellsworth 7, Foxcroft 0

At Dover-Foxcroft, Yonas Millay tallied two goals as Ellsworth shut out Foxcroft Academy.

Zach Emeigh and Jesse Abbott each had a goal and an assist while Moritz Bohm, Luke Haskell and Adam Kaspala added a goal apiece. Greg Berry stopped all 11 shots he faced for the 4-4-2 Eagles.

Alex Gray made 16 saves on 25 shots for the 0-9 Ponies.

Penquis 2, Searsport 0

At Searsport, Jerell Arefein and Jesse McLaughlin scored second-half goals to lift the Patriots to victory.

Richie Russell made three saves for 2-5-1 Penquis of Milo.

Dan Peach registered 26 saves for 0-7 Searsport.

Lee Acad. 3, DI-Stonington 2

At Bangor, Brandon Crocker scored two goals in the first half, including the game-winner, to lift Lee Academy to its first win.

Dean McDonald added a goal while A.J. Harris stopped 18 of 21 shots for the 1-7-1 Pandas.

Evan Rollins and Joe Carter each netted a goal for Deer Isle-Stonington while Joe Carter and Brett Gagne combined to make seven saves on 10 shots for the 3-3-1 Mariners.

Central 3, Old Town 1

At Old Town, Jacob Speed tallied a goal and assist to lead Central of Corinth past Old Town.

Ryan Bean and Patrick Byers added goals and Aaron Partridge an assist for the 5-2-1 Red Devils. Tyler Pineo had nine saves on 12 shots.

Chad Paradis scored for 3-5 Old Town. Ethan Shanley stopped 14 of 19 shots.

Penobscot Valley 2, Schenck 0

At East Millinocket, Derek Bellevance and Charlie Gardner each scored an unassisted goal as Penobscot Valley of Howland prevailed.

Aaron Aywalt had 11 saves on 16 shots to earn the shutout for the 4-4-1 Howlers.

Lanny Thompson stopped 16 of 20 shots for 2-4-2 Schenck.

Field hockey

Camden Hills 2, Nokomis 1

At Newport, Monica Doucette swept home a rebound off a penalty corner with 1:53 left in regulation to give Camden Hills its triumph over Nokomis.

Megan Bauer scored the other goal for 7-1-1 Camden Hills and Dale Winsper made four saves.

Erin Knight scored for 5-5 Nokomis off an Alison Berg assist. Beth Flanders made six saves.

JV: Nokomis 3-1

Skowhegan 4, Bangor 0

At Skowhegan, Sam Gifford scored two goals in the second half to lead Skowhegan by Bangor.

Lorrie Hitz and Caitlyn Lancaster each added a goal for Skowhegan. Megan Hancock and Sam Gray combined to make two saves on two shots for the 7-1 Indians.

Hilary Babin stopped 27 of 31 shots for the 2-6 Rams.
