PITTSFIELD – Shane Adkins scored two touchdowns, one on a 52-yard punt return and another on a 4-yard run, as Foxcroft Academy remained undefeated with a 42-7 high school football victory over Maine Central Institute Friday night.
Adkins finished with 76 yards on 12 carries; Ben Provost led all FA runners with 90 yards on nine carries.
Jerod Rideout chipped in 65 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown and Wade Witham had TD runs of 7 and 6 yards.
Shawn Bennett returned a fumble 78 yards for a touchdown to pace Maine Central Institute.

At Millinocket, Nate Warren ran for 118 yards on 22 carries and scored on a 24-yard run to cap a 20-point third quarter outburst as Bucksport improved to 3-2.
The game had been scoreless through the first half, then Cam Wentworth put the Golden Bucks on the board with a 50-yard interception return for a touchdown. He later hauled in a 15-yard touchdown pass from Derek Fish.
Jared McGreevey hooked up with Josh MacDonald for an 18-yard touchdown pass to pace the Stearns Minutemen while Kurt Hamilton had 15 tackles and two sacks.

At Old Town, Darrus Grate rushed for 111 yards on just seven carries and scored two touchdowns to lead Morse of Bath to victory over Old Town.
Jake Vigue had only two carries for 107 yards, but both resulted in touchdowns for Morse.
Drew Wallace, Pat Wolfe, Alex Kee and Zach Kidney each scored rushing touchdowns.
Michael Walton completed three of seven passes for 43 yards including a nine-yard touchdown pass to Jaime Wallace in the first quarter.
Luke Moreau returned an interception for a touchdown on the last play of the game. Tyler Pelletier led Morse with five tackles and Jesse Cassidy recorded a sack.
Josh Boucher was seven-for-12 passing for 64 yards, all to Lance Getchell, including an eight-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter for Old Town.
Getchell has 31 receptions in five games.
Dana Leland rushed 15 times for 84 yards and Seth Wallace had nine tackles.

At Fairfield, Shawn Champagne caught two touchdown passes from Jack Hersom and scored on a one-yard run, all in the first quarter, to lead Lawrence past Brewer.
Brock Lawrence scored on a 55-yard punt return in the first quarter and caught a 27-yard pass from Ben Violette for a second-quarter score for the Bulldogs.
Devon Costigan scored touchdowns on a one-yard run and a 15-yard run. Jeshua Dearborn converted all six of his extra-point kicks.
Caleb Smith completed a 9-yard pass to Tyler Cousens for Brewer’s only touchdown. Jamie Nickerson completed the two-point conversion on a rush.
