Presque Isle police looking for stolen car

PRESQUE ISLE – Officers from the Presque Isle Police Department were on the lookout Sunday afternoon for a car that had been stolen from a home in the city on Saturday evening.

Presque Isle police Officer Kevin Reed said that the tan 1994 Dodge Intrepid was stolen from a Maple Street residence just after 9 p.m. Saturday.

The vehicle had $100 inside it and the keys were in the car.

The investigation is continuing, and police are urging the public to keep their vehicles locked and to take valuables out of the vehicle or keep them hidden.
