PORTLAND – Maine Historical Society has received a $15,000 grant from the Maine Community Foundation to help improve the care of and public access to the privately held Pierce Family Collection. The collection will be cataloged and rehoused, then approximately 200 pages of letters and other documents will be digitized and made available to the public through the society’s online historical resource, the Maine Memory Network.
