GORHAM – India Lowe scored unassisted in the 64th minute to lift Southern Maine to a 1-0 college field hockey win over Salem State on Tuesday.

Allie Hill had four saves on seven shots for the 8-3 Huskies.

Jessica McKenna stopped six of 15 shots for 5-4 Salem (Mass.) State.

Men’s soccer

Bates 4, Southern Maine 0

At Gorham, four different Bates players had a goal in the win over Southern Maine.

Patrick Grater, Brent Morin, Dustin DiGregorio and Ben Lajoie all scored for the 2-5-1 Bobcats of Lewiston. Robert Munro had one save on five shots.

David Kreps and Kevin Mulkerin combined for three saves on 14 shots for the 6-4-1 Huskies.
