The summit will open Friday, Nov. 16, and continue Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Strand Theater in Rockland and the Camden Opera House in Camden. It will address questions of retaining young people in Maine, supporting traditional, artistic and technological businesses and creating vibrant downtown areas.

The conference is being organized by the Midcoast Magnet, a group of young professionals in Midcoast Maine, and Midcoast members of the Governor’s Creative Economy Council.
