AUGUSTA – The Society for Human Resource Management’s Maine State Council announced the rankings for the 25 companies named in the second annual “Best Places to Work in Maine” program at an awards and recognition reception dinner at the Augusta Civic Center Tuesday night.
The event, presented in conjunction with the Best Companies Group, the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, the Maine Department of Labor, JobsInME.com, Employment Times, Mainebiz, Verrill Dana and ProSearch, recognizes companies that have established and consistently fostered outstanding workplace environments.
This year 25 companies from Portland to Presque Isle made the the 2007 list.
