STANDISH – India Lowe’s second-half goal led the University of Southern Maine past Saint Joseph’s College 2-1 in college field hockey action Thursday.

Alyssa Kraus scored on a penalty corner at 13:52 in the first half for the Huskies of Gorham. Allie Hill had seven saves on 10 shots.

Jaimee Brett scored an unassisted goal in the first half for Saint Joseph’s. Kathleen Simoes blocked one of seven shots.
