STACYVILLE – Mary-Jo Robinson and Melissa Duffy each scored two goals and had an assist apiece as the Katahdin girls soccer team shut down Deer Isle-Stonington for a 5-0 victory Monday.

Kali Rush added a goal for 7-4-2 Katahdin and Jalisa Moore and Brooke Livezey each contributed an assist. Duffy, Robinson, Kayla Stevens and Jade Clippinger combined to save all five DI-Stonington shots.

Britnie Jones and Anika Powers combined for five saves on 25 shots for the 4-8 Mariners.

Lee 6, Schenck 0

At Lee, Aarika Ritchie scored three goals and Amanda Gifford added two goals and an assist to help Lee improve to 13-0.

Kellsey Grass chipped in with a goal and Morgan McGaw notched two assists for the winners. Karin Bird made three saves on 13 shots.

Leann Toothaker made three saves on 35 shots for 1-10-1 Schenck of East Millinocket.

Greenville 3, Buckfield 1

At Greenville, five different players figured into the scoring as the Lakers moved to 10-1-1.

McKenna Peat, Addie Pelletier and Ruby Rockwell each scored a goal. Gretel Breton and Kaitlin Harmon each chipped in with an assist. Lauren Fling stopped 14 of 15 shots.

Alyssa Harmon scored off an assist from Ashlee Hamann for 5-5 Buckfield. Carly Carlile had 15 saves on 18 shots.

Boys soccer

Katahdin 5, DI-Stonington 0

At Stacyville, Marshall Davis recorded three goals to help the Cougars cruise to the win.

Ethan Qualey and Tom Anderson each added a goal and an assist for 5-6-1 Katahdin. Matt Tarr and Levi Robinson combined to make seven saves on 12 shots.

Joe Carter and Eben Powers combined for eight saves on 26 shots for the 6-5-1 Mariners.

Washington Acad. 7, Sumner 1

At East Machias, Min Kim led Washington Academy past Sumner of East Sullivan by scoring two goals.

Joey Hunter, Todd Junn, Milos Gautier, Young Gi and Mike Knowles scored for the Raiders. Josiah Jackson made seven saves on 11 shots.

Joey Ossanna scored a first-half goal for Sumner and Ralph Tayamora stopped 34 of 44 shots.
