Stephenson’s OT goal lifts UMaine

ORONO – Kim Stephenson scored on a corner kick in the first overtime to lift the University of Maine women’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory over the University of Maryland Baltimore County Sunday.

Jasmine Phillips had one save on four shots for the 4-4-2 Black Bears.

Christine Bacinski made seven saves on 23 shots for 1-9-2 UMBC.

At Castine, Tyler Eads scored an unassisted goal in the 67th minute to lift Maine Maritime past UMaine-Presque Isle Sunday.

Randy Bartlett had five saves on 18 shots for the 3-7-2 Mariners.

Scott Clenchy stopped five of nine shots for the 4-6-1 Owls.
