BAR HARBOR – Jesse Abbott scored the second of his two goals with 3:47 left in regulation to lift Ellsworth to a pivotal 3-2 Class B boys soccer victory over Mount Desert Island Thursday.

Matt Duhaime added a goal for 9-3-2 Ellsworth. Greg Berry made five saves on 11 shots for the Eagles.

Tarek Dekkaki tallied a goal and an assist while Carl Ferm added a goal for MDI. John Joseph stopped 10 of 15 shots for the 10-2-2 Trojans.

JV: Ellsworth 2-0

Bangor Christian 6, Searsport 1

At Searsport, Zach Kutz scored two goals and Brandon Wilcox assisted on three to lead the Bangor Christian Patriots.

Levi Washburn, Jacob Marino, Brett Bradford and Sam McLeod each scored a goal for the 11-1-2 Patriots. Kutz, Tyler Alexander and McLeod combined to make nine saves on 10 shots.

Evan Kingsbury scored on a Dylan McFarlin assist for the 0-12 Vikings. Don Peach and Josiah Brazier teamed up to make 19 saves on 25 shots.

DI-Stonington 1, Sumner 0

At Deer Isle, Eben Powers scored the game-winning goal with 3:32 remaining in the game to lift Deer Isle-Stonington past Sumner of East Sullivan.

Joe Carter stopped all nine shots he faced for the 6-5-3 Mariners.

Josh Ring stopped 13 of 14 shots for the 4-10 Tigers.

John Bapst 1, Bucksport 0

At Bucksport, Jordan Myers scored in the 27th minute to lift John Bapst of Bangor to victory.

Miles Gagnon assisted on the goal for the 6-8 Crusaders. Ethan Cushman had eight saves on 16 shots.

Ross Bowden stopped 12 of 20 shots for 1-12-1 Bucksport.

JV: John Bapst 4-1

Bangor 2, Hampden 1

At Hampden, John Warren and Mack Susi scored unassisted goals to lead undefeated Bangor to its 13th victory.

Erik Milles had seven saves on 10 shots for the 13-0-1 Rams.

Nate Burke scored for 9-4-1 Hampden Academy, with Brad Haase earning the assist. Cam Cox stopped four of six shots.

JV: Bangor 2-1

Cen. Aroostook 4, East Grand 3

At Mars Hill, Emanuel Martinez scored the game-winning goal with 20:31 remaining in the game to lift Central Aroostook past East Grand of Danforth.

Travis McDonald tallied two goals while Logan McCarthy added one for 8-4-2 Central Aroostook. Tyler Rusby made 10 saves on 13 shots for the Panthers.

Tyler Langill, Luke Gillis and Harvey Brittan each notched a goal for East Grand. Abe Brittain stopped 24 of 28 shots for the 3-10 Vikings.

Skowhegan 3, Nokomis 2

At Newport, Jonathan Wheaton, Shane Martineau and Aaron Dufour notched a goal apiece as Skowhegan tripped up Nokomis.

Nick Beaulieu and Mica LaGross teamed up to make seven saves on 17 shots for 2-12 Skowhegan.

Cody Haverly-Johndro and Jordan Richards scored for 0-13-1 Nokomis while Jordan Woodbury added an assist. Mark Gustin stopped 10 of 16 shots.

Orono 3, Penquis 0

At Orono, Nate Peterson stopped all five shots he faced to notch a shutout and lead Orono past Penquis of Milo.

Ludovico Robenstainer, Ian Staples, and Max Winter each scored a goal for the 7-7 Red Riots.

Richie Russell made four saves on seven shots for the 4-9-1 Patriots.

Greenville 5, Valley 1

At Greenville, Richie Chilson scored three goals and assisted on a fourth as the Lakers finished their regular season with a fifth straight victory.

Kyle Whitman added a goal and two assists for 9-3 Greenville, Troy McVey had a goal and Joe Gilbert picked up an assist. Tim Post and Alex Jardine combined for 18 saves on 20 shots.

Cam Miller scored unassisted for the 3-8-1 Cavaliers, and John Hunnewell made 29 saves on 37 shots.

Girls soccer

Cen. Aroostook 5, East Grand 0

At Mars Hill, Alex Dame notched a pair of goals to lead Central Aroostook by East Grand of Danforth.

Meagan McClay, Brittany Mosher and Miranda Levesque each added a goal while Shelby Hallett and Latisha Neece each had an assist. Robyn Graham did not face any shots for the 5-6-2 Panthers.

Courtney Lloyd made 20 saves on 34 shots for the 2-12 Vikings.

John Bapst 6, Bucksport 0

At Bangor, Whitney Sinclair tallied two goals and one assist while Kristen Willard scored two more goals to spark John Bapst’s victory.

Catherine Lammert notched a goal and two assists while Kirsty Moriarty chipped in a goal for the 11-0-3 Crusaders. Sam Maquillian had seven saves on nine shots.

Stephanie Bridges stopped nine of 18 shots for 4-9-1 Bucksport.

Washington Acad. 7, ‘Guagus 1

At East Machias, Kayla Wood tallied three goals to power Washington Academy by Narraguagus of Harrington.

Bri Nicely netted two goals while Joslyn Corey and Carilla Fritz each chipped in with a goal. Irene Lewey made two saves on four shots for the undefeated Raiders.

Samantha Baker made 17 saves on 26 shots for the Knights.

Bangor Chr. 3, Searsport 1

At Bangor, Suze Van Dine, Christin Pelletier and Katherine Bragg each tallied a goal to lead Bangor Christian by Searsport.

Moriah Bach made four saves on 13 shots for the 10-4 Patriots.

Tianna Faunce scored a goal for Searsport, with the assist going to Kali Berenyi. Amanda Chaney and Megan Higgins combined to make 10 saves on 15 shots for the 9-5 Vikings.

Orono 3, Penquis 0

At Milo, three different Red Riots scored unassisted goals in the victory over Penquis.

Rachel Balaban-Garber, Alyssa Bates and Kalie Hess provided the offensive punch for Orono. Brittany Pinkham recorded four saves on eight shots.

Erika Lyford and Kristyn Chapman combined for 27 saves on 32 shots for Penquis.

PCHS 4, PVHS 0

At Guilford, Christine Davis tallied three unassisted first half goals to propel Piscataquis by Penobscot Valley of Howland.

Cassie Tardiff chipped in with an unassisted goal for 9-4-1 Piscataquis. Jill Martell stopped all 10 shots she faced for the Pirates.

Julie Theriault made 20 saves on 24 shots for the 6-8 Howlers.

Foxcroft Acad. 1, Hermon 0

At Hermon, Shee-Ann Sargeant scored the game-winning goal with 3:50 left in the first half to lift Foxcroft Academy past Hermon.

Sarah Whittemore made 21 saves on 24 shots for the 2-12 Ponies.

Meagan Herbert made four saves on five shots for the 4-9-1 Hawks.

Ashland 6, Wisdom 0

At St. Agatha, Crystal Cooke scored a pair of goals to lead undefeated Ashland to the win.

Jessica Holmes, Whitney Flint, Jackie Raymond and Jessica Jimmo tallied a goal apiece for the 12-0-2 Hornets. Taylor Baker stopped all three Wisdom shots.

Deliya Michaud had 16 saves on 26 shots for the 4-7-1 Pioneers.

Van Buren 2, Washburn 1

At Washburn, Taylor Parent converted a penalty kick with 18 minutes left in the game as Van Buren rallied to knock off Washburn.

Erica McDougall headed in a Kelsee McLaughlin corner kick in the first half to give Washburn (9-4-1) a 1-0 advantage. Lindsey Lajoie tied it up for the Crusaders, now 7-7, later in the half with an unassisted goal.

Jennifer Ouellette made seven saves on eight shots for Van Buren while Washburn’s Rachel Palmer blocked six of nine.

S. Aroostook 2, Hodgdon 2 (2OT)

At Hodgdon, Shannon Martin scored a goal for Hodgdon with 13:00 remaining in the second half to force a tie with Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook through two overtimes.

Keri Estabrook netted the first goal for Hodgdon. Emily Jurson made 20 saves on 25 shots for the 3-9-2 Hawks.

Rochell Nadeau and Brittany Charette each posted a goal for Southern Aroostook. Emily Cummings made 12 saves on 16 shots for the 7-6-1 Warriors.

Fort Kent 2, Houlton 0

At Houlton, Nicole Chasse and Marissa Albert each scored an unassisted goal in the second half to lead Fort Kent by Houlton.

Elizabeth Morneault made 10 saves on 11 shots for the Warriors.

Madison Lezotte stopped 10 of 12 shots for the Shiretowners.
