The University of Maine will play the University of Vermont in a football game for the first time in 33 years as the UM Football Club faces the UVM Catamounts Club at 8:20 p.m. Saturday at Morse Field.
The UM Club team’s second annual homecoming game matches two 4-1 teams. Vermont is in first place in the Northeast Independent Football League West Division while Maine is second in the East. Both teams have already clinched playoff berths. A pregame fireworks show will start at 8 p.m.
