‘Project Runway’ returns to Bravo

It’s sew good! Bravo’s back with an all-new season of designers looking to make it big on “Project Runway.”

I’ll warn you that this time around the cast is even more flamboyant than in the past three seasons, but the characters are bound to produce enough drama to keep us all on pins and needles.

The Man on the Couch once again got roped into watching the preview of the premiere (of course I had to agree to watch the new “UFC: Ultimate Fighter” at 10 p.m. on Spike), but by the end I think he was hooked on the new season.

I didn’t agree with the judge’s choice for the first of the 15 contestants who was eliminated, and hope that back-to-the-earth Elisa is the next to go.

Most importantly, some of the fashions created on the first episode are fabulous and I can’t wait to see how some of these designers improve throughout the season. Tune in at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, on Bravo.

In other Bravo news, “The Real Housewives of Orange County” is back for a third season. The show is the perfect reality soap opera and, if it’s possible, there’s more drama inside the gates this time around.

Vicki is suffering from empty nest syndrome. Jeana’s real estate career continues to be hot, but the relationship with her husband continues to slide. Tammy, new to the show last season, has her own family struggles to deal with as she works to get back on her feet after a rocky divorce. Lauri’s wedding plans are moving forward along with her jewelry line.

And last, but not least, there’s a new hot housewife in town. Tamra adjusts to the working world after being a stay-at-home mom for 18 years, but is no stranger to the extravagance of the Orange County way of life.

Catch up on their lives during the premiere at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, also on Bravo.

I also have to share with you the multitude of brain cells that I lost Wednesday night while watching Spike TV. After UFC, The Man on the Couch and I found ourselves somehow fixated on “MANswers.” No, it’s not quite a reality show, but it’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before.

The show attempts to answer all the questions guys really need answers to, but I’m not so sure I needed any of the answers I got. I learned about the largest breasts in the world, how to become intoxicated the fastest and what the best hangover remedy is.

Women, trust me. You don’t want to tune in. Leave this one for the guys.
