The Bangor police report simply states that the remains of a used Molotov cocktail were found on blacktop behind the Fourteenth Street School on Sunday, Sgt. Paul Edwards said Monday.
Police received word of the broken glass at 5:11 p.m. and, after reviewing the area, called Bangor Public Works to clean up the debris.
The Public Works report states only that the crews removed the remains of a Molotov cocktail. Neither report indicated what type of glass bottle or accelerant was used. (Nok-Noi Ricker, BDN)
