EAST MACHIAS – Kayla Wood and Bri Nicely scored to lead the Washington Academy girls soccer team to its third straight Downeast Athletic Conference title with a 2-0 victory over Woodland Monday.
Wood scored with 54 seconds remaining in the first half for the Raiders, and Nicely added a second-half goal off a Haleigh White assist. Irene Lewey stopped three of five shots.
Cynthia Bergin made 16 saves on 25 shots for Woodland.
