HAMPDEN – Nick El-Hajj notched a goal and assist to lead the No. 7 Hampden Academy Broncos by the No. 10 Lewiston Blue Devils 5-1 in an Eastern Maine Class A soccer prelim Tuesday.

Brad Haase, John D’Haiti, Jacob Cravens and Nick Beal added goals and Harvey Shue and Maic Frieden assists for the 10-4-1 Broncos. Cam Cox had four saves on five saves.

Matt Beaupaslant scored on a penalty kick for 4-8-3 Lewiston. Alex Wong stopped 19 of 27 shots.

Class B

Mount View 1, Old Town 0

At Thorndike, Dylan Keller’s goal with 4:14 left in regulation lifted No. 5 Mount View past No. 12 Old Town.

Derek Keller assisted on the goal for the 10-3-2 Mustangs. Ethan Jean had four saves on six shots.

Ethan Shanley stopped 14 of 22 shots for 5-9-1 Old Town.

Central 2, MCI 0

At Corinth, Matt Connolly and Matt Kelley each scored a goal to spark No. 7 Central by No. 10 Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield.

Scott Kelley assisted on Connolly’s goal. Tyler Pineo made 10 saves on 14 shots for the 10-3-2 Red Devils.

Casey Edgerton stopped 17 of 24 shots for 6-9 MCI.

Camden Hills 4, Erskine 0

At Camden Hills, James Weferling netted three goals as No. 8 Camden Hills shut out No. 9 Erskine Academy of South China.

Josh Dufour added a goal while Christian Wincklhofer grabbed two assists. Nick Doucette stopped 11 of 14 shots for the 10-5 Windjammers.

Brian Potter and Walter Travis combined to make nine saves on 23 shots for 6-8-1 Erskine.

MDI 5, Belfast 0

At Bar Harbor, Skyler Lewis netted three goals in the first half to lead No. 4 Mount Desert Island by No. 13 Belfast.

Ben Young tallied two goals and an assist while Tarek Tekaki had two assists. Naniel Hilliard and Carl Ferm each grabbed an assist for 11-2-2 MDI. John Joseph made two saves on four shots for the Trojans.

Russell Varney made nine saves on 17 shots for 4-10-1 Belfast.

Class C

Calais 2, Schenck 0

At East Millinocket, the No. 9 Blue Devils scored a pair of unassisted second-half goals to put away the No. 8 Wolverines.

Goalkeeper Dylan Ramsdell made them stand up with 12 saves on 16 shots for 8-6 Calais.

Jeremy Carr tallied the first one 25 seconds into the second half. Jeff Johnston booted home the insurance score with 1:54 to play after the Wolverines moved up to try to force the equalizer.

Lanny Thompson posted 16 saves on 22 shots for 6-7-2 Schenck.

Orono 2, Piscataquis 0

At Orono, Ian Staples scored one goal and assisted on another by Mark Cloutier as seventh-ranked Orono triumphed.

Staples’ goal was set up by Lee Hecker for the 8-7 Red Riots. Nate Peterson stopped all five Piscataquis of Guilford shots.

Corbin Shufelt blocked seven of nine shots for the No. 10 Pirates (7-6-2).

Fort Kent 3, Houlton 1

At Fort Kent, Thomas Levesque tallied all three goals to power No. 6 Fort Kent by No. 11 Houlton.

Corey Voisine and Alex Charette each posted an assist for 7-7-1 Fort Kent. Matt Harvey made 10 saves on 18 shots for the Warriors.

John Drew scored the goal for Houlton while Ryan VanBuskirk made 12 saves on 24 shots for the 6-8-1 Shiretowners.

Class D

Fort Fairfield 6, Highview Chr. 0

At Fort Fairfield, Josh Churchill scored two goals and recorded an assist and Josh Booth added two goals to lead No. 4 Fort Fairfield by No. 13 Highview Christian of Charleston.

Ryan Noyes chipped in with a goal and an assist for the 12-2-1 winners, Pat Kinsey notched a goal and Brendan Doughty had two assists. Austin Dufour made one save on one shot.

Jeff Miles made 16 saves on 40 shots for 4-8-1 Highview.

Katahdin 6, Cen. Aroostook 2

At Stacyville, Marshall Davis scored three goals and notched an assist to lift the No. 8 Cougars by the No. 9 Central Aroostook Panthers of Mars Hill.

Tom Anderson added a goal and three assists for 7-7-1 Katahdin, Ethan Qualey contributed with a goal and an assist and Billy Duffy had a goal. Matt Tarr made three saves on five shots.

Emanuel Martinez and Zac Amnott each scored a goal for 8-5-2 CAHS, and Tyler Rusby made seven saves on 17 shots.

Woodland 5, Calvary Chapel 0

At Woodland, Chad James knocked in three goals, all off assists from Cody Sappier, as No. 5 Woodland beat No. 12 Calvary Chapel of Orrington.

Corey Townsend and Sappier each added a goal for the 10-3-2 Dragons, and Ivan Siabuldea had an assist. Dan Proulx made seven saves on seven shots.

For the 4-10 Sabers, Brian Kettell made 19 saves on 24 shots.

Van Buren 3, So. Aroostook 0

At Dyer Brook, Derek Rossignol scored a goal in each half to help the No. 11 Crusaders knock off No. 6 Southern Aroostook.

Ben Doucette chipped in with a goal for the 8-7 winners and Alex Martin added an assist. Patrick Vaillancourt made seven saves on 11 shots.

For the 8-5-2 Warriors, Colby Clark made seven saves on 11 shots.

Girls soccer

Class C

Fort Kent 7, Houlton 0

At Fort Kent, Marissa Albert knocked in four goals to lead the sixth-ranked Warriors to the shutout of No. 11 Houlton.

Nicole Chasse notched one goal and assisted on three others for 8-5-2 Fort Kent. Jamie Pelletier and Katie Rossignol added a goal apiece while Elizabeth Morneault had 10 saves on 12 shots.

Madison Lizotte blocked 12 of 25 shots for Houlton, which finishes 6-9.
