CALAIS – Piscataquis outscored Calais 2-1 in the second round of penalty kicks as the No. 9 Pirates of Guilford knocked off the No. 8 Blue Devils 2-1 in an Eastern Maine Class C girls soccer prelim Wednesday.

Victoria Tracy scored a goal for 10-4-1 Piscataquis in the second half to force the game into overtime. Jill Martell made seven saves on 10 shots.

Lauren Remington posted a goal in the first half while Hillary Hollingdale made 10 saves on 12 shots for 6-6-2 Calais.

Searsport 3, Dexter 2

At Searsport, Kayla Garcelon scored on an assist by Chanelle Gray midway through the second half, giving the seventh-seeded Vikings the margin of victory.

Sarah Bradshaw scored two goals for Searsport, one off a Kylie Jettinghoff assist that gave the hosts the lead for good early in the second half. Amanda Chaney made four saves on seven shots.

Sara Domenech and Miranda Gove scored one goal each for No. 10 Dexter (7-6-2), with Raven Patterson providing an assist. Ashley Richardson made 10 saves on 23 shots.

Class D

Hodgdon 1, Woodland 0 (PKs)

At Woodland, Shannon Martin, Taylor Hovey and Chelsea Sloat each converted a penalty kick as No. 12 Hodgdon upset No. 5 Woodland in a shootout.

Emily Jurson stopped 28 of 33 shots for the 4-9-2 Hawks.

Cynthia Bergin made 14 saves on 16 shots for the 7-5-3 Dragons.

Fort Fairfield 3, Wisdom 0

At Fort Fairfield, Rose-Mary Williams tallied two unassisted goals in the second half as No. 6 Fort Fairfield shut out No. 11 Wisdom of St. Agatha.

Brooke Beaulieu scored an unassisted goal in the first half for 8-5-2 Fort Fairfield. Kristen Hebert and Paige Beaulieu did not face any shots for the Tigers.

Deliya Michaud made 11 saves on 25 shots for the 4-10-1 Pioneers.

So. Aroostook 7, CAHS 1

At Dyer Brook, Janel Rockwell, Brittany Charette and Liz Goodall each scored two second-half goals as the eighth-seeded Warriors broke the game open.

Rochelle Nadeau scored the other goal for 7-7-1 Southern Aroostook in a game that was tied 1-1 at halftime. Nadeau also provided two assists. Emily Cummings made 12 saves on 17 shots.

Alex Dame scored an unassisted goal for No. 9 Central Aroostook of Mars Hill (5-7-2). Robyn Graham made 19 saves on 36 shots.

Class A

Mt. Blue 2, Oxford Hills 1

At Farmington, Hannah Allen scored the game winning goal in overtime to lift No. 6 Mt. Blue past No. 11 Oxford Hills of South Paris.

Pia Laine scored the first goal for Mt. Blue while Emily Deane made six saves for the 11-3-1 Cougars.

Kari Pelletier netted the goal for 4-10-1 Oxford Hills. Sam Rivers made 12 saves for the Vikings.

Class B

Gardiner 2, Old Town 0

At Gardiner, Stephanie Eaton converted a pass from Asia Smith six minutes into the second half to give No. 8 Gardiner the winning edge.

Kaitlyn Turmelle notched an unassisted insurance goal with 21 minutes remaining for the 8-6-1 Tigers. Kayla Marks made eight saves on 14 shots.

Annie Cashon recorded 11 saves on 15 shots for No. 9 Old Town, which finishes 8-6-1.

Winslow 7, Central 0

At Winslow, Katie Caron tallied four goals and an assist to power No. 4 Winslow by No. 13 Central of Corinth.

Jill Smith scored a goal and grabbed two assists while Liz Cheesman and Jordan Mallett each added a goal and an assist for 14-1 Winslow. Beth Fisher made one save on two shots for the Black Raiders.

Jana Philbrick made 10 saves on 23 shots for the 3-10-2 Red Devils.

Caribou 4, Belfast 0

At Caribou, Ali Richards netted two goals to lead No. 6 Caribou by No. 11 Belfast.

Kristen Espling and Abby Small each added a goal while Lydia Kieffer and Christine Savage each grabbed an assist for Caribou. Brittany Doak made five saves on eight shots for the 11-3-1 Vikings.

Laura Small and Destioney Pinkham combined to make 12 saves on 18 shots for the 4-9-2 Lions.

Bucksport 1, Medomak Valley 0

At Waldoboro, Emily Lenor scored the game-winning goal with 10:13 remaining in the second overtime to lift No. 12 Bucksport past No. 5 Medomak Valley.

Paige Pelletier grabbed the assist on the winning goal while Stephanie Bridges made seven saves on 14 shots for the 5-8-2 Golden Bucks.

Rachel Keefe made eight saves on 14 shots for 10-5 Medomak Valley.

Field hockey

Class B

Camden Hills 3, Erskine 0

At Camden Hills, Amanda Kava tallied three goals to lead No. 1 Camden Hills by No. 8 Erskine Academy of South China.

Monica Doucette, Brittany Tyler and Megan Bauer each posted an assist for 12-2-1 Camden Hills. Dale Winsper stopped six of seven shots for the Windjammers.

Ashley Richardson and Beth Belanger combined to make eight saves on 11 shots for the 3-11-1 Eagles.

Class A

Skowhegan 2, Lawrence 0

At Skowhegan, Kylie Damon and Sam Gifford each scored a goal in the second half to lead No. 1 Skowhegan by No. 9 Lawrence of Fairfield.

Erin Sevey and Gifford each grabbed an assist while Megan Hancock saved all four shots she faced for the 14-1 Indians.

Jordan Carter stopped 10 of 30 shots for 7-9 Lawrence.

Boys soccer

Class D

Easton 1, DI-Stonington 0

At Easton Tuesday, Corey White scored the game’s only goal with 20:09 remaining in the second half to lift No. 7 Easton past No. 10 Deer Isle-Stonington.

Holden Turner grabbed an assist for 11-4 Easton while Jeremy Brock made 21 saves on 23 shots for the Bears.

Eben Powers stopped nine of 12 shots for the 6-6-3 Mariners.
