PRESQUE ISLE – Katie Hutchinson scored an unassisted goal with 14:30 left in regulation to lead Maine Maritime Academy to a 1-0 women’s college soccer victory over UMaine-Presque Isle Thursday.

At Orono, Marianne Rivard scored the winning goal off of an Amy Avitabile assist at 87:39 to break the 1-1 tie and lead the University of New Hampshire past the University of Maine.

Michelle Sheehan tied it at 73:23 on assists from Caitlin Whelen and Cassandra Guerra for 9-5-1 New Hampshire. Amy Yost stopped four of 11 shots.

Laura Martel scored at 73:03 on a Kelsey Wilson assist to give the 4-6-3 Black Bears a short-lived lead. Jasmine Phillips blocked seven of 11 shots.
