FORT KENT – Jimmy Lopez scored 21 points to lead the University of Maine-Fort Kent to an 82-63 home-opening win Sunday over the University of Kings College of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
David Gabriel had 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Bengals, and Gediminas Sumyla added 11 points and five steals.
Clifton Riley led Kings College with 14 points, and Bannon Morrisey had 13 points and three steals.
