The starting times for two area high school football games scheduled for Saturday have been changed.

The Eastern Maine Class B quarterfinal that sends No. 6 Mount Desert Island (5-3) to No. 3 Winslow (6-2) has been moved up from 1:30 p.m. to a new starting time of noon, according to Winslow athletic administrator Sean Keenan. The change was made in anticipation of inclement weather Saturday.

The LTC regular-season finale that sends unbeaten Foxcroft Academy to Dexter has been moved back from 1 p.m. to a 3 p.m. opening kickoff, in order to be less in conflict with the Class C state championship field hockey match between Foxcroft and Telstar of Bethel, which is slated to begin at noon at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland.
