LINCOLN – Brady Vose rushed for 182 yards on 14 carries and scored on runs of 30 and 9 yards as Mattanawcook Academy blanked Stearns of Millinocket 40-0 in high school football action Friday.
Josh Pelkey completed 4-of-5 passes for 62 yards and a 8-yard touchdown toss to Peter Coggins. Jake Smith added TD runs of 13 and 4 yards.
Twin brothers Ian and Nate Nevells anchored a Lynx defense which allowed only 72 yards of total offense. Ian Nevells compiled 12 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble while Nate notched eight tackles and forced another fumble.
Greg Hand added five tackles, a sack and a blocked punt, which Derek Gardner returned 30 yards for a touchdown.
Cory Barnett recorded 10 tackles for the Minutemen.

John Bapst 49, Orono 19
At Orono, Nick Smith rushed for two touchdowns while Kyle Gallant passed for three more as John Bapst of Bangor wrapped up regular-season play with a victory over Orono.
Smith finished with 90 yards rushing, scoring on runs of 65 yards in the first quarter and a 3-yard spurt in the fourth for the Crusaders. Gallant passed for 145 yards while Derek Smith returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown.
Seth Dwyer paced the Red Riots with two interceptions while hauling in a 45-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Levasseur in the second quarter. Ben Perry scored on a 2-yard run and Dustin Godreau on a 10-yarder.

At Pittsfield, Nick Miller compiled more than 300 yards in total offense, ran for three touchdowns and passed for another to lead the Maine Central Institute Huskies to victory over the Mustangs of Thorndike.
Miller had two TDs of 1 yard and another for 21 yards, and also connected on a 30-yard TD pass to Matt Delaney. Miller finished with 243 yards on 28 carries and added another 90 return yards.
Jeff Morton chipped in with a 9-yard TD run for MCI and Trevor Rowe broke loose for a 30-yard TD run.
Edwin Santana paced Mount View as he completed 9 of 17 passes for 120 yards, including a 12-yard TD pass. Ed Rodriques caught six of those passes and the TD pass.

Richmond 3, Greenville 0
At Greenville, Melanie Schanck scored two goals and Bri Clifford scored once as No. 2 Richmond upended top-ranked Greenville to win its second straight Western Maine Class D championship.
Schanck and Clifford each scored in the first half as the 12-3 Bobcats took a 2-0 lead, and Schanck also added an insurance goal after intermission.
Greenville (11-2-1) tried to rally in the second half, with two shots caroming off the crossbar, but the Lakers were unable to break through against Richmond goalie Nicole Tuttle, who made 15 saves on 20 shots.
Lauren Fling made 23 saves on 27 shots for Greenville, which was appearing in a regional championship game for the fourth consecutive year.
