Small business focus of Nov. 8 presentation

WATERVILLE – A Nov. 8 business breakfast, presented by Thomas College in partnership with the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce, will focus on the cash flow cycle and its effects on small businesses in Maine.

The presentation, titled “Stop the Cash Flow Roller Coaster, I Want to Get Off!” will be presented by author and professor Caroline Jordan. She will discuss how 66 percent of small businesses are affected by a fluctuating cash flow cycle and practical strategies business owners can use to make cash flow more stable.

The presentation will be held at 7:30 a.m. in the college’s Student Center Atrium Lounge at 180 West River Road in Waterville.
