MILO – Selectmen will hold a special meeting in executive session at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, to discuss a personnel matter with the town’s attorney.

While selectmen declined to disclose any further information about the executive session, it is expected it will focus on Town Manager Jane Jones. Jones was placed on administrative leave on Sept. 13 for 45 days to allow selectmen time to investigate charges of financial misconduct.

Jones, who has vigorously denied any financial mishandling, has hired attorney Dale Thistle of Newport to represent her in the matter.
