COLLEGE

Ryan Prescott

St. Joseph’s College junior Ryan Prescott was named GNAC men’s cross country runner of the week. He captured individual honors at last weekend’s conference championships, clocking a 28:01 over 8,000 meters.

Katie Murphy

Katie Murphy of St. Joseph’s College was honored as the GNAC’s women’s cross country runner of the week. She placed eighth overall in the GNAC Championships, posting a time of 23:30 over 5,000 meters.

Katie Mayo

St. Joseph’s College goalie Katie Mayo was named NAC women’s soccer goalie of the week. She played 200 minutes of shutout soccer last week and has posted seven shutouts this season.

Mary Clare Snediker

Colby College forward Mary Clare Snediker was named NESCAC field hockey player of the week. She scored two goals and converted the game-winning penalty stroke in a 3-2 shootout win over Bates College.

Tim Millett

Tim Millett of the University of Maine-Farmington was honored as the NAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Millett led the Beavers to a NAC title on Saturday at the conference championships with a time of 28:21.26.

Kel Cenga

Kel Cenga of the University of Maine-Farmington was chosen as the NAC Men’s Cross Country Rookie of the Week. Cenga helped the Beavers to the NAC title with a second place finish in the conference championships.

Emily Farley

The University of Maine-Farmington’s Emily Farley was selected as the NAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Farley repeated as the NAC individual champion and led the Beavers to a conference title, completing the 5K course in 21:03.15.

Amanda Gunter

Amanda Gunter of the University of Maine-Farmington was named the NAC Women’s Cross Country Rookie of the Week. Gunter assisted in the Beaver’s NAC championship win with a second place finish.

Brian Lemont

Brian Lemont of the University of Maine-Farmington men’s soccer team was honored as the NAC Player of the Week. Lemont made five stops in scoreless regulation and two 10-minute ovetimes, and blocked two penalty kicks in the shootout to help the Beavers advance in the NAC quarterfinals.

Krystyna Gagne

Krystyna Gagne of Elms College was chosen as the NAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week. Gagne scored both goals for the No. 5 Blazers in a 2-0 conference tournament quarterfinal win at No. 4 Lesley University.

Chelsea Norton

Chelsea Norton of the University of Maine-Farmington women’s soccer team was selected as the NAC Rookie of the Week. Norton scored a pair of goals and assisted on another score to lead the top-seeded Beavers to a 6-1 win over No. 8 Johnson State in the NAC quarterfinals.

Cassandra Kidd

Cassandra Kidd of Husson College was named the NAC Field Hockey Rookie of the Week. Kidd recorded a goal in the Eagle’s 8-3 quarterfinal win over Thomas College.

Cassandra O’Neil

Husson College’s Cassandra O’Neil was honored as the NAC Volleyball Player of the Week. O’Neil set a school record this week with 12 service aces in a 3-0 win over Thomas College.

Ashley Tilton

Ashley Tilton of Maine Maritime Academy was chosen as the NAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week. In two matches Tilton recorded 10 kills, 31 digs and a .357 attack percentage for the Eagles.
