AUGUSTA – Togus VA Medical Center will host the 10th annual Maine Homeless Veterans Stand-Down on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Registration will be 9-11 a.m., and the daylong event will include volunteers from private, state and federal organizations as well as veterans service organizations and individuals. Homeless veterans will be provided transportation that day from 10 pickup points throughout the state, from Caribou to York and points between. There will be a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings provided for the homeless veterans and volunteers.
