Do you really know what a rock is? And what is not a rock? Discover the world of geology. Learn about the rock cycle, from their fiery volcanic origins, shaped by wind and water, and changes made by heat and pressure deep within the Earth. Test the skills you learn to identify minerals. If time and weather permit, explore the rocks of Fields Pond. This class will complete most of the requirements for the Cub Scout Geology Belt Loop, Webelos Geology requirements, and Cadette and Senior Girl Scout Geology Badge.
