BANGOR – Roger Brownell, 63, of Bangor bowled a perfect 300 game Sunday during the second annual Maine State USBC Senior Tournament at Family Fun Lanes.

For Brownell, who has been bowling for 45 years, it was his first 300 game. He bowled games of 161, 236 and 300 for a 697 series.

The state seniors tournament concludes next weekend.
