Bowdoin College junior midfielder Julia King was named the NESCAC Field Hockey Player of the Week. King had two assists in the NESCAC championship game to help lead the Polar Bears to their third straight title.

Kristen Chambers

University of Maine at Farmington senior forward Kristen Chambers was honored as the North Atlantic Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week. Chambers had a goal and an assist in defeating Husson in the NAC title game. She was also named NAC Tournament Most Valuable Player.

Katie Nickerson

Husson College junior forward Katie Nickerson was named the North Atlantic Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week. Nickerson earned MVP honors by scoring a goal and assisting on another in three games to help Husson win the NAC championship.

Ashley Tilton

Freshman outside hitter Ashley Tilton of Maine Maritime Academy was named the North Atlantic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week. Tilton totaled 17 kills, 14 digs and six aces in the championship game against Husson to lead MMA to the NAC title.

Ben Bishop

University of Maine men’s hockey junior goalie Ben Bishop was named the Hockey East Pure Hockey Defensive Player of the Week. Bishop had 26 saves in a 1-1 tie against fifth-ranked Boston College.

Justin Candon

Colby College senior Justin Candon was named the NESCAC Football Player of the Week. Candon caught nine passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Mules past Tufts 19-16.

Michael Talarico

Colby College first-year player Michael Talarico was honored as the NESCAC Rookie of the Week for football. Talarico had eight tackles, including one for a loss, and had a pass break-up.
