PORTLAND – Andre Anderson scored two goals in the first half to lead the University of Maine-Fort Kent men’s soccer team to a 2-0 victory over the State University of New York at Canton for the Sunrise Conference Championship Monday.

The 20-0 Bengals receive an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament in Olathe, Kansas Nov. 14-20 at MidAmerican Nazarene University.

Anderson scored in the second minute on an assist from Luka Odak and Sean Platt, and again in the 35th minute on a feed from Emlyn Jacoby.

Derrick Plourde stopped all 12 shots he faced to earn the shutout for UMFK.
