Did this city not learn anything from urban renewal of the 1960s? This current plan to destroy two fine old historic homes for a parking lot shows a complete lack of respect for history and our ancestors.

Has Eastern Maine Medical Center even considered extending the current parking garage out and up? That would save crossing a very busy street and be much easier and safer for all who use the facility.
