AUGUSTA – The Maine Commission for Community Service recently announced that Eric Buch, president of the United Way of Eastern Maine, has been appointed by Gov. John Baldacci to serve on the Commission for Community Service’s Board. In addition to his duties as President of the United Way of Eastern Maine, Buch also serves on the board of the Maine Philanthropy Center and is the convener of the Eastern Maine Funders.
