In response to Eastern Maine Medical Center’s decision to demolish two historic houses, it seems we lost touch with the song sung by Joni Mitchell, “Big Yellow Taxi.” The song lyrics include: “They paved paradise and put up a parking lot.”
A more modern approach would be building a multistory parking garage at the present site of employee parking. They did it once already on the hospital side.
